Yippee for snow!! We finally got lots and lots of snow yesterday. Mommy said we were only supposed to get 1-3 inches ('cause that's what the weatherman told her), but when I woke up this morning, there was 10 inches on the ground......and it was still snowing!! I had to fight my way to the corner to find a good potty spot. I like it in the corner 'cause it's safe there.

Well, Daddy got up and get ready for work while Mommy laid in bed watching the weatherman on TV. She kept calling someone, not sure who, and then she yelped so loud I nearly rolled off the bed! She was happy 'cause she got a snow day and didn't have to go to work. And then Daddy found out he got a snow day, too! Yippee!! But instead of crawling under the covers, like I would have preferred, Daddy wanted everyone up and out of bed to shovel the driveway. So I got my winter coat on and headed out to help.

After a while I got the shivers, so I got to warm up inside while they finished up. Then Daddy went out back and started clearing paths for me. He's so good to me!! I love it now 'cause I can do my border patrol and take potty breaks without having to hop through snow that's taller than me. I got a good workout this morning trying to run through the snow with Daddy. I think I'll take a good long nap this afternoon while Mommy finishes her homework and Daddy goes to work (despite his free snow day). I thought he'd want to stay and play with me all day, but he says he's gotta bring home the bacon. Mmmm......bacon.

  2. Oh Chase, how I love your posts!

I saw on the news that Indy got pounded with snow and was wondering if there was a snow day...lucky you! I remember those days of calling the voicemail every 5 minutes wishing and hoping!

  3. Chase, you're in full camo when it snows, I see. All i can see is your eyes and nose. You're like my G.I. Joes growing up that had on full-body white snow suits to blend in to their terrain.

  4. Chase I'll trade you our ice for your snow. Cousins Jackson and Cooper wish you were here to play with them at Nonna's and Grandaddy's.
    Love,
