Little Miss Mae is 3 months old already! Gosh, I can't even believe it. I'm back at work now and we're all adjusting to the new routine quite nicely. Mae is sleeping in her room now, so we're all sleeping a little better. She sleeps about 6 hours at night (yay!) and still only gets fussy when she's hungry.

School is going well. Ford likes taking his baby sister to "his" school and helping Daddy at drop off and pick up time. He's just as good at helping at home, too. He puts her pacifier in her mouth, brings her toys, covers her with blankets (although we always have to make sure he doesn't cover her face), pushes her in the swing, plays music for her, and continues to love on her all the time. If she's crying, he'll come up to her and say "You're okay, Mae" and rub her head. He's also been helping around the house. Last week alone he helped me wash dishes 3 times, helped me with putting laundry in the dryer, and helped put away his AND Mae's clothes in the right drawers. He's being such a great big brother and little man.

But this post is supposed to be about Mae....so let me get back to it. She is a happy baby; she's smiling more but is still pretty quiet. She doesn't coo very much but is very alert and loves to watch everything. She's getting to where she wants to sit up where she can see more instead of lying down looking at the ceiling (although she does enjoy the ceiling fan...ha!). She pays particular attention to Ford, of course, and follows him with her eyes. I've also noticed her watching Chase every now and then. And she loves her Daddy. The way her face lights up when she sees David melts my heart every time.

Here are my favorite pictures from her 3-month photo shoot. You can see the full gallery on our Shutterfly site (click Photo Album at the top of the blog). Until next time!

About a month ago Mae, Ford and I spent a few days in Kentucky while Jamie and the kids were in town. It was a house full and maybe a bit chaotic at times, but it was oh so worth it! We haven't had all the kids together since July 2013, so it was really neat to see how they played and interacted together. It warmed my heart to see all the cousins together.

Ford was thrilled to have a playmate his age in sweet EmmaJane. Those two were tied to the hip; Ford kept saying they were best friends.

We weren't able to get out to do much because it was so dang cold, but Grandaddy took us all to Gattitown one night for pizza and LOTS of playtime.

And of course everyone got in some snuggle time with Mae! :)

It was a wonderful trip for all of us. My only regret is that we can't do it more often!
