This weekend we drove to Wisconsin to pay our respects to Boppa (Sr.), who we lost rather unexpectedly on April 24. Although it was a solemn occasion, it was a beautiful day to celebrate Boppa's long and prosperous life with family and friends. As the patriarch of the Stelsel family, he will be sorely missed, but his legacy lives on his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Boppa was one of the finest, most honorable men I've ever known, and I'm grateful to have called him family. I see so much of him in Dave, David, and Kirk, and it warms my heart to know Ford (and baby 2) will get to experience the best of Boppa Sr. in
their Boppa, Daddy, and Uncle KK.
