We had another successful Thanksgiving in Indy with the Parkers, Stelsels, and Kassenbrocks. We started the day running/walking for a cause at the Drumstick Dash in freezing temperatures. The one good thing about running/walking in cold weather: you go fast! We finished up as fast as we could then headed home to warm up and put the food on. Then we scurried over to Kirk and Laura's for a festive feast.

While the crazies spent the day shopping on Black Friday, Dave, Ford and the Parkers stayed in to relax. And by relax I mean see who could complete his/her section of the puzzle the fastest. :)

On Saturday we celebrated Connie's birthday and spent most of the day decorating the house. I love Christmas! And I was really into the decorating this year. Now that it's all up, though, I think I'll just leave it until next year. Decorating is a lot of work!

Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving with your families!

  1. A good had was timed by all. Thank you, Thank you , Thank you all who prepared, all who served and Kirk & Laura for the wonderful table and home to have a feast in and especially to EMILY for saving me a seat by her in the corner where we didn't have to get up to help do anything.
