We're having such a good time playing with him, teaching him, and watching him develop into a little person. He's a curious little bugger -- likes to reach out to touch everything and watches everything and everyone.

- Rolling. He's becoming quite adept at rolling from tummy to back and back to tummy. As soon as we lay him down, he starts rolling side to side. We get a good giggle every morning watching him on the baby monitor as he plays in his crib. He's our little wiggle worm.
- Taking pictures! Nothing makes me happier than seeing him light up when we take his picture. I know it won't last forever, so I get a kick out of it now. Here are two of his recent pictures they took at school for door decorations:
- His favorite foods are squash, sweet potatoes, and peas. Mmm mmm mmm. Delicious and nutritious. We're starting fruits today!
Dislikes at 7 Months:
- Not paying attention to him. I've read babies can exhibit separation anxiety around this age. Oh boy. I don't know if that's what's happening, but sometimes when I pick him up from school and don't go to him right away (because I'm talking to the teacher or arranging his things to take home with me), he starts crying. This is completely new for us; and something I hope he grows out of quickly. So far he hasn't exhibited any separation anxiety at any other time -- just when I pick him up at the end of the day. I'm hoping it isn't anxiety and is just his way of saying, "Mom, Mom, Mom!! I'm so happy to see you! Please come hug me!" :) Time will tell....
- Ford has two teeth! His dentist (our friend Kira is a pediatric dentist....lucky us!) discovered his first tooth over the weekend. Then the second one popped up just two days later.
- His tongue makes different speech noises. He discovered how fun it is to blow bubbles and stick out his tongue a few months ago. But now he's discovered he can use his tongue to talk. Da-da-da-da has evolved into bla-bla-bla-bla.
