Movers and Shakers, Part 6: Countdown Is On

Just two more weeks until we move into the house! We can't wait! And I'm sure Chase is ready to have more room to roam/run/sniff/hide toys. We'll be moving in the day before Thanksgiving (eeek!), so our holiday is sure to be chock-full of unpacking, organizing, and icing sore backs. Fortunately, our families will be here to help us. And this time we've hired a moving company rather than relying on our oh-so-generous friends. So at least we won't be doing the majority of the heavy lifting and loading/unloading. Still, there will be tons of work to do in between our turkey chow downs, football games, and shopping excursions.

Here are some of the pictures from the last week or so!

Chase snuck into our "storage room" at the apartment. Do you think he's worried about being left behind? ;)

Outside is almost completely done! Just missing columns on front porch, gutters, and the door needs painting. Once the brick gets power washed, this will be the best looking house on the block (in my opinion)!

Cabinets are in! The countertops are covered in a thick layer of dust/dirt, so we don't have any good pictures of those yet. But take my word for it: they look great!

David's making sure his 55" TV will fit. Did I mention he doesn't own a 55" TV? Never hurts to plan ahead, I guess.

Stair rail is in. Still needs to be stained.

Master bath is in (cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and floor)

Guest/Bubba's bath is in (cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and floor)
