Easter Weekend

today is Easter Sunday, and what a great day it's been. actually, what a great WEEKEND it's been! grandma and boppa stelsel came to town and i've kept them really busy. on friday i took them on their first trip to the Children's Museum. i showed them all my favorite things to do, such as the leap pad climbing exhibit, the trains, the carousel, and the dinosaurs. i think they had a lot of fun, and i hope i can take them back some day.

after the museum, mommy took me home for a nap. when i woke up we went to kk's house, then to dinner with the kassenbrocks. what fun! i was such a good boy and was the last one to finish my supper -- i was a hungry boy after my busy day playing tour guide!

on saturday morning i went on my first easter egg hunt at the park. there were a lot of kids there!! my best friend corwin was there, so we had fun together. he did really good at gathering eggs. i got 4, but i was happy with that. i spent the rest of the day at kk's house playing basketball and soccer with whoever was available. sometimes i even played it by myself. i practiced dribbling the ball, and mommy was pretty impressed. i also dyed easter eggs for the first time. i only cracked one, but boppa was hungry so he just ate it. then grandma made easter dinner for us, and the kassenbrocks came over again. it was a really fun day.

finally, easter sunday arrived, and i woke up to a surprise from the easter bunny! i love my new bunny; i named him bobo. he went to church with me and he was very well behaved -- just like me. bobo goes everywhere with me -- even to the potty. 

grandma and boppa went home today, and i didn't like that too much. but i was happy to spend so much time with them over the weekend, and i can't wait to see them again! mommy and daddy tried to keep the fun weekend going with another afternoon playing outside. i learned how to pedal my tricycle, but i'm going to have to practice some more -- i couldn't do more than two cycles before i got stuck. i also played with my new wagon and wheelbarrow that grandma brought me.
