i was a really good boy at my appointment. mommy and daddy both took me since it was my first time. i got to sit in the big chair and they laid it waaaaaaay back. that was fun. oh! and they had all kinds of toys and books, so i picked out two teddy bears and got to hold them the whole time. one lady started with cleaning my teeth. that was kind of weird because she had her fingers all in my mouth and these magic wands that scraped my teeth. it was weird, but i didn't cry or fight her at all. sometimes i got to sip water through the squirt gun thingy, and i really liked that.
after she was done cleaning my teeth, dr. kira came over to check me out. she said i had all my teeth except the four back molars -- right on track for my age. and she said they looked healthy and i was doing great!
when i left i got to pick out a toy (rubber duck), stickers, AND a toothbrush (i picked the purple dora the explorer one....haha). all in all, a great first visit to the dentist! daddy was so pleased, he brought home a dvd of curious george just for me for being such a good boy. i don't know why they expect anything less.... i mean, i AM 2! geez....give me a little credit here.

I'm so happy you were a good boy and had a pretty Dr., because that makes your visits more fun. When I was little I didn't get to have a fun Dr.'s visit like you did, my fist visit they used a real big old loud drill and I had some pain and I always felt afraid to go to the dentist after that, but a lot of things have changed since the old days. By the pictures I can see you enjoyed yourself and sounds like you got a good report and that makes Granddaddy happy, happy, happy. I love you bunches and hope to see you soon. Granddaddy 'D'
