Dave and Connie came in late Thursday night, so they got to keep Ford on Friday while David and I went to work. David only worked a half day, however, so he spent the afternoon with his family doing what they do best: shopping. :) From what I hear, Ford was a trooper and didn't make a peep during his shopping trip.

After I got home from work, we all went to a nice dinner at Noah Grant's Oyster Bay and Grille in Zionsville. The restaurant is a quaint, elegant place in the heart of Zionsville Village. The food was excellent, and once again, Ford was an angel.
On Saturday we spent most of the afternoon playing games. Connie and Laura took advantage of the nice weather by taking Ford and Chase for a walk.

Of course on Sunday we went to church for the Easter service. Ford slept through the singing but woke up in time for the sermon and Communion (during which he proceeded to add in his own 'Allelulias' and 'Amens'). He also flirted with the people around us, smiling at the ladies around him. He also participated in his first Communion (sort of). David took him up with us to receive a blessing, which made me cry (gosh, I'm such an emotional basketcase!). Then we came home for a quick lunch before Dave and Connie headed home.

Happy Easter to you and your families!
