The day finally arrived. It was back to work for me, and off to school for Ford today. I shed a few tears when we dropped him off, but of course he was fine. After lunch I couldn't stop watching the clock, waiting for 5:00, because I was so excited to go pick him up.
He had a great day playing with his new friends. He was absolutely pooped when I picked him up. He fell asleep on the way home, woke up long enough to tell me about his day, then crashed again.

Aw, D! I bet that had to be tough, but I'm so glad he did so well on the first day at school! Give him a squeeze for me until I can do it in person!
