We rang in the new year with friends and family. Dave and Connie stayed with us over the weekend. It was a relatively quick visit, but we had a good time. We opened Christmas presents, watched some football, and tired out Chase.
We spent New Year's Eve at our friends' house downtown. We started off with dinner with Kirk, Laura, Russell, and Lindsay while Connie babysat Corwin. Then we all headed downtown for our annual New Year's party with the college crew. I'd say this year was the most tame NYE party yet (guess our late 20s are finally catching up with us!). At this point in the blog, I would normally show you all my great pictures. Unfortunately I'm a total bonehead and deleted all the pictures off my camera before they saved to the computer. I only managed to save one (a goody, but not representative of our fun night):

Rule of thumb: Always take a pre-party picture because you never know what you'll look like as the night progresses. :)
